A Year of Impact

As the year draws to a close, we’re reflecting on what’s been possible in 2024 because of people like you—our community of supporters, volunteers, and local partners. Every Child Arkansas’s mission to support children and families impacted by foster care has always been a team effort, and this year, that team has stepped up in ways that inspire and humble us.

Here’s what we’ve accomplished together.

💚 Building a Network of Care
Across Arkansas

Our Every Child Arkansas family includes a network of dedicated partner organizations across the state, many with personal ties to foster care. Whether it’s lived experience or a deep-rooted passion for helping children in crisis, these local partners and affiliates have a unique commitment to showing up for Arkansas’s kids.

In 2024, with their support and yours, we’ve seen:

• More than 1600 total foster inquiries!
• 320 passed off to partners
• 656 volunteer leads
• Hosted 3 Coffee House Events

Our partners and volunteers don’t just “do their jobs”—they build community, offer encouragement, and remind children and families they are valued and seen. We’re so appreciative of everyone who has stepped up and made a difference for children and families.

💚 Supporting and Uplifting Foster Families

Being a foster parent can be incredibly rewarding, but it also brings unique challenges. This year, the Every Child Arkansas network worked on building partnerships with local businesses, healthcare organizations, and education districts to help celebrate and support foster families.

In 2024, we supported multiple partner organizations and DCFS by volunteering at their events. Every Child Arkansas also attended multiple meetings network meetings inviting additional organizations into the work of supporting children & families in Arkansas.

These initiatives go beyond providing a helping hand—they offer community, reassurance, and the chance to recharge, helping foster families feel seen, supported, and appreciated.

💚 Looking Forward: Join Us This Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is just around the corner, and it’s an amazing chance to make a meaningful difference. Not everyone can open their home, but every one of us can help make foster care a little easier and a lot brighter for these families. With your Giving Tuesday gift, we can recruit more foster families, meet the immediate needs of kids in foster care, and keep building a caring community around them.
