Who we are
Every Child Arkansas is a statewide network—including Arkansas Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS), Private Licensed Placement Agencies (PLPAs), child welfare advocates, non-profits, and other community organizations—working in collaboration to mobilize our community to fill the biggest gaps in caring for every child and family impacted by foster care in our state.

How we do it
Every Child shares the realities of foster care while inspiring a positive, collaborative, and hopeful narrative that challenges the stereotypes associated with the foster care system and those involved.
Empowering Volunteers
Every Child provides meaningful foster care volunteer opportunities—big and small—for everyone to engage with the child welfare system in their local community.
Guiding New Foster Parents
While creating awareness around the need for more foster homes, we help guide new foster parents in starting their foster care journey—ensuring they’re partnered with the best foster care agency based on their needs.
Supporting Families
Every Child collaborates with local community partners and organizations to provide the emotional, social, and practical support foster parents, children, and families of origin need to thrive and succeed.

The Contingent, the organization behind Every Child’s work, was welcomed in Arkansas as a partner in recruiting foster families.
Aug 2023
“Every Child Arkansas” launched as a collective effort with 20+ organizations.
Feb 2023
Every Child Arkansas launches publicly, inviting everyone to support kids and families affected by foster care.
